My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy partner! I`m Cowboy, a young and lively spirit. I`m as sweet as pie and friendly to boot. I love a good play session, and string toys are my absolute favorite. I can chase them around all day long! After all that fun, I enjoy nothing more than a good cuddle. I`m the kind of cat who will curl up next to you and purr contentedly. I`ve got a lot of love to give, and I`m just waiting for the right person to share it with. If you`re looking for a playful, cuddly companion who`s always up for a good time, then I`m your guy. Adopt me, and let`s make some beautiful memories together!
I am fixed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you! Call the Humane Society of Sedona at (928) 282-4679 to schedule an appointment to meet me.

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
