What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My son was on the bus and on his way home from work, when he saw a homeless couple get on the bus with this beautiful dog. When the dog saw him she jumped out of their lap and ran straight to him, and he started playing with her.
The couple told him they were homeless and were unable to care for her. He texted me and asked if he could bring her home and my answer was no we already have two dogs and the landlord will not let us have another. And what does he do, 30 minutes later he rings the doorbell because she was in his arms and he had this beautiful little creature. He told us he could not leave her.
Unfortunately, we cannot keep her and I do want her to go to a home that’s going to be able to give her all the love that she deserves because she’s so full of it.
The only reason we’re asking for $80 is because my son gave the homeless family $80 for the dog. He has a heart of gold, both of my sons do.
Pixie will make a great pet and is getting house trained.
