Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drake is a miniature dachshund who was surrendered by the family of a breeder who finally convinced their grandpa to stop breeding because he could physically not handle it anymore. I do not have papers or proof, but I was told that he is purebred. The pictures and video were taken right after he was surrendered and the first time he met me so he was terrified but as you can see he still let me pick him up with no problem (I picked him up slowly and carefully) and let me know love on him. He will be staying at my vet until adoption instead of at the 'farm' with all the other dogs due to his small size. The breeder does have lots of grandchildren so he has been around kids.
He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
