Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi! My name is Rustic Roamer. My littermates and I were local surrenders from the community. We were all sick with nasty "kitty colds". We landed in a great foster home, where our foster mom and AFA's medical staff have gotten us healthy. In addition to getting healthy, I have been working on my socialization. I am still the shyest of my littermates. I will lay near and crawl on my foster mom, but I am not a fan of being petted or held. It only took my foster mom and I four days of one-on-one time (Three or four times a day for 20 to 30 minutes a session.) and I have discovered that with a squeeze treat bribe, I am very comfortable being petted. I have found my voice and will chat with you. I can purr up a storm, make biscuits with the best of them, and I can PLAY FETCH! I will need someone willing to keep working with me so I can become more a friendly and confident kitten.
I am motivated by play and food. I love wand toys, balls of any kind, i.e., ping pong, fuzzy, those loud rolling ones and spring toys.
I have been eating wet and dry food. I have excellent litter habits.
I will need a slow introduction to your home. I suggest a small room, such as a bathroom, so I can bond with you and then start exploring other areas. I feel I would be good with cat(s), dog(s), and older respectful children, once again, with a slow introduction.
