Meet Matthew

"Wow! That is one handsome hunk of kitty!" Yes, that's what a visitor to Matthew's foster home exclaimed upon recently meeting him. Fortunately, this stunning buff boy hasn't let his good looks go to his head. In fact, he's the epitome of sweetness and is actually a bit bashful. Don't let that deter you from adopting Matthew. Once you hold and pet him, he absolutely melts. Originally trapped in a cat colony in Camp Washington, he has come to appreciate indoor life and comforts that go along with it, especially snuggling, cozy beds and plenty of treats. He even enjoys belly rubs! He's great with other cats, but needs a quiet home (without dogs or young children) to nurture his sweet soul. Don't wait too long to consider this handsome fella. He's sure to have plenty of people swooning over him!

Born likely March or April of 2024, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for FIV/FeLV

Adoptions Events are held on Saturdays at the several local Petsmart and Petco stores. If you would like to meet a specific cat, please contact us ahead of time and we will bring the cat to the weekend event.

More about this rescue

Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts.

Meet the cats every Saturday at our adoption events (details listed below), and you can see the cats on Petfinders and 1800save-a-pet in the hopes of finding good homes for them.
