My name is Scarbo!

Scarbo is a sweet girl who is still, after several years, just shy of feral (she was rescued from a sewer drain when she was a couple of months old). She was extremely attached to our other cat, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago, however, and she has been just miserable ever since; she's retreated farther and farther, is terrified of every sound, still hisses at us when we walk past her hiding places, and is generally just miserable. Add to this, since my mother became ill, I have to make trips out of town every other week for several days, and we just don't feel good about leaving her alone.

We will pass along 2 litterboxes (one expensive one), her food bowl, a cat tree, 2 carriers, some toys, and quite a bit of food.

We feel like she would be much happier with an experienced cat owner who has the time and patience to coax her sweet nature back and help her come out of her shell again.
