Physical Fence Requirement: No. She would love a fence as she loves to bask in the sun, but it would have to be a secure fence because she can be an escape artist. She loves to walk and exercise, would be a good running/hiking partner.

Ideal Home: A home with another dog, not required, but she loves to play and loves the security of another dog. She prefers females, but would be ok with a male that respects her boundaries. Does well on a leash and harness.

Crate trained: yes

Likes: Toys, bones, cuddles. She wants to snuggle next to someone to settle in. Expert level counter surfer, so must keep counters clear and food put away.

Dislikes: Dogs that don’t pick up on her no thank you cues.

Clemmie came from a dog shelter, not sure of her history before, but she appears to have been in survival mode for a while. She came in covered in flea bites, etc. She is still in “on the run” mode, thus the counter-surfing and the desire to dart at every opportunity, but she is very intelligent, loyal, gentle and sweet, so this is something we are confident will lessen with her forever family.
