Henry says that 11 is the new 5! He is an active, sweet, happy Yorkie that gets along with cats and all dogs from a 4.4 pound puppy to a 93 pound German Shepherd, and everything in between. Henery is a big yorkie at about 15lbs or so. He is housebroken and learned the dog door very quickly. Henry was diagnosed as a diabetic and was owner surrendered to the veterinarian and then us. He will need an owner who can stick with a feeding schedule and shot that is 12 hours apart. He receives his insulin shot immediately after eating, twice a day. Right now his schedule is 6:30am/pm, but he can be transitioned to a different time that works for you. He is on Hills Prescription WD food which helps keep his glucose in check. He is 16.6 pounds and eats 3.2 oz of food twice a day and receives 4ml of insulin twice a day. He is fully vetted including shots, a dental and microchip. He is ready for his forever home!
To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
