Meet Rhett!! Rhett is an outgoing and extremely loving boy! All this dog wants is to cuddle and love you. He will do everything he can to be close to you. We think he’s a Spaniel mix of sorts and will be a big boy. He’s close to 9 months old and just over 50 lbs. He came to us from an overcrowded kill shelter in Oklahoma. He is not quite housebroken yet, but he is almost there. He will let you know when he needs to go outside, but the actual deed takes a bit. His foster home doesn’t have a fence so the leash might be throwing him off. Rhett does very well with other dogs. He has been attached at the hip with the 4 year old resident dog in his foster home. He‘s easygoing and not aggressive with toys or during feeding time. Rhett has also proven to be great with little kids. He spent time with the foster mama’s large family with tons of little ones, and he was quite the hit. Rhett is crate trained. We recommend using a crate if you are going to be gone for a long period of time, but he is not destructive or anxious. Just a big goofy pup still. This boy needs a loving home with a family that will smother him with love and affection. He truly is one of the sweetest dogs most people have ever met. Neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption!!

To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $350 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
