Hi friends two legged and four legged, I'm Oma Roma a spayed female heeler mix! When I was tagged from a high kill shelter in Texas, they thought I was old but I'm actually only about a year so my name (Grandma in German) doesn't suit me but that's ok!

I'm a happy, fun loving girl, I LOVE being with people and other dogs, I love to run free but I have great recall and always come when called. I love going for walks but also love lounging around while my foster mom works. I have never had an accident in the house and as long as toys are around and things are put up, I behave myself quite well and don't get into mischief. I know sit, I never jump on people and am very gentle for treats. I currently live with 4 other dogs, big and small, old and younger and I'm great with all of them my foster mom says.

I spent many months living in an outside pen so I'm used to that but I prefer being inside with you! I will admit, I really despise a kennel and if placed in one, I will try to escape because I'm a bit claustrophobic so a home where I can just be left loose and home with my people or where I can go to work or doggy day care would be the best type of life for me!

To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $250 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
