Sabin would love a foster home of his own! He is almost 6 months and weighs about 55 pounds. He is a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Labrador/Husky mix per his DNA test. He will be a BIG boy when full grown!
Right now he is living with his mom and 6 siblings. While he has everything that he could want, taking care of 8 rambunctious dogs is a LOT on one person and his Good Samaritan needs help!
He is crate trained, but will need a touch up on housetraining. He also has never been on a leash so he will need to be taught leash manners and to not jump up on people. Sabin can be possessive on his person with another dog when he is getting cuddles or is on the couch.
He needs a fenced in yard. We highly recommend a family who has experience with large breed dogs due to his training needs.
Sabin is good with other dogs, cats, and older kids. He LOVES food, treats, and swimming in the pool.
He can be fostered to be adopted! He will be neutered in mid to late September.
If you are interested in fostering Sabin, please fill out an ADOPTION application for him here and mark "foster or "foster to adopt with his name on the application.

More about this rescue
The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
