Hi, I'm Skyler, and I’m a sweet, loving 18-month-old pup. My mom, a retired senior (turning 68 next month), rescued me from the shelter because she thought I'd be a great fit for her after her beloved Shih Tzu of 14 years passed away. While she adores me, she’s realized I have more energy than she can keep up with at her age. So now, I hope to find a new home that matches my playful spirit! I’m full of love and enjoy lots of hugs and kisses. My mom knows little about my past, but I’ve adjusted well and am eager to learn new things. I’m not sure how I’d do with small children, but I warm up quickly to people and have done well meeting other dogs (I had a great boarding experience with other pups!). I’m a good listener, very treat-motivated, and have already learned a few commands like sit, stay, down, and "in" (for my crate).
