Hi there! We are Trouble and Peanut, sweet little senior pups looking for our forever home! We were unfortunately surrendered to the shelter due to our owner moving and they couldn't take us with them. We are pretty mellow and friendly with everyone! We really don't require much - just someone to love us and give us a place to rest our heads! We have only ever really been around each other when it comes to dogs, but we don't foresee there being an issue with us sharing our home with another canine friend in the future! We have never really been around children either, but we are gentle and sweet with everyone, so we wouldn't mind having kids in our future home either. We have been together most of our lives, so we are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. We will give you loads of love and companionship in return though! Do we sound like a good fit for you? Ask to meet us at the shelter!

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
