A family of four was rescued from a local hoarding situation. Buckley and her two sisters came in with their beautiful calico mom when the little ones were just three weeks old. Now grown and feisty, the girls are ready to find their new homes. Born in early May, 2024, Buckley is a petite gray and white girl. The runt of the litter in size but not in energy level. Buckley makes you work for her affection. She doesn’t mind being held, just catch her first! This tiny miss can keep up with the bigger ones in both eating and playing. She would love a friend in her new home.
Buckley is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
