This little guy is both smart and lucky. Abandoned all alone, he made his way to the yard of a feeder who also happened to be a rescuer. Born in mid June, 2024, Polo is a charcoal grey and white boy with a look of sadness on his cute face. He came in alone, but quickly became friends with the other fosters. He purrs the second you touch him and just loves to be petted. He enjoys nestling up to the bigger cats, almost as if he remembers being part of a family early on. Polo would love a buddy in his new home.
Polo is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
