Keira is a lovely short-hair tabby with an exquisite accent of white fur around her mouth. Though she can take a day or two to warm up, once she's settled in she is superbly affectionate and not shy about it! She'll mrow happily at you until you give her some chin rubs or butt pats!

Despite her size and age, she is a very playful cat. She relishes in chasing after catnip toys and rolling around happily on her cardboard scratcher. Keira loves being patted on the base of her tail - something many people call "bongos"! Keira also loooves belly rubs - when she flops over to her side in joy once you scratch her chin, she'll knead the air and invite you for a belly rub session.

Keira has a gentle nature, seeking your attention by rubbing against your legs (or feet). Her expressive meows will make you laugh as if she said "hey! I'd like another chin scratch!". Keira's meow is a combination of honk and meow - an endearing sound to greet you at the door when you come home.

She is a little overweight, but has lost a few pounds on a diet plan. She is a super polite, clean kitty. She'd love a good brushing to help her maintain her pretty torbie coat.

Keira’s gentle spirit will be a wonderful addition to your family. She will be happiest as a single pet. She'd be great with older, gentle kids.
