Reason for Intake: Ziggy's owner passed away recently. A friend is helping rehome her but can not take her in because she has a dog. Ziggy is staying at a Pet Hotel.
Up to Date with Vetting: Yes. Last at the vet in May 2024.
Good with dogs: When she sees other dogs on leash walks she howls and pulls if they are on the same side of the street. She does not do this from the other side of the street. Staying in a private room at the Pet Hotel. Ziggy's owner said she was concerned with other dogs. It does not sound like she has had much experience with other dogs.

Good with strangers: Yes. Very friendly with people. Paramedics were able to come in and she did not show concern and was happy to see them.

Leash skills: Walks well on leash but pulls and lunges at other dogs. Walks on a harness. Friends had been walking her for the owner.
Okay with physical handling/manipulations: the Pet Hotel was asked to groom her. They said they would call if there were any issues but they did not call. Friend thinks Ziggy has been prescribed anti-anxiety meds in the past for nail trims.

Food on now: Kirkland Salmon and Sweet Potato kibble. 1 cup, 2x/day.
