Skippy and Tux are a 14-week old kitten duo looking for their forever home together!
Tux is a formally dressed guy who loves playing with mice, jumping in baskets, and wrestling with his siblings. He is curious and loving, and enjoys getting pets and looking out the window. Skippy is a cute little boy who is initially a bit reserved with new people, but he is slowly but surely finding his meow!
Skippy is curious and active. He likes to play with his siblings (especially his very best friend and bonded brother Tux), explore new spaces, and sprint through his crinkle tunnel. Like most kittens, Skippy has a lot of energy to burn. He plays hard and naps hard, and enjoys every day.
Tuxey boy is a high energy kitten who plays hard and naps hard, in true kitten fashion. Tux gets along well with other cats (he hasn’t met any dogs yet). This sweet boy also hasn’t met any children, but he would probably do well with gentle, cat-friendly kids.
These little men currently lives with 3 other litter mates and two adult humans. They are sociable guys and are very friendly with new people. These boys would thrive in a loving and attentive home with humans who enjoy kitten playfulness and are around a lot to join him in all the fun.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
