My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5639719 Stanley is a silky soft storm cloud of a pup with the sweetest personality! This super friendly young dog loves to be close to his people, whether that’s seeking pets or other affection, or sticking close to listen carefully to their commands. He’s also full of curiosity and loves to explore his surroundings, especially with his people nearby! This handsome boy already knows some basic commands, but is a super smart cookie that loves treats, so he could easily learn more. Stanley is still quite young at only 2 years old, and has a medium to high energy level that makes him the perfect companion for a more active or outdoorsy family. Consider adding this sweet, smart, enthusiastic pup to yours today!

  •  2 year old gray and white Siberian husky - has the softest fur!!

  • 45.5 pound neutered male

  • Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, does have some fly strike on the ears, which might need a little extra attention

  • Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 7/16/24 as a stray

  • Knows basic commands like come, and likes treats and takes them gently, so can be easily motivated to learn more!

  • Enjoys being pet and seeks affection from his people; also likes to stand by or next to them and is very responsive to your voice

  • Very sweet, with a medium to high energy level - would be perfect for a family that can provide lots of playtime, exercise, or other mental stimulation

  • Curious about the world around him and exploratory in nature

  • Walks nicely on leash, but can pull at times - could use some more leash skills training

  • Ignored other dogs when in the play yard - can be selective, recommend a slow introduction

  • May show signs of potty training

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
