Meet Henry, a sweet, one-year-old playful pup who is looking for his forever family!
About me:
The key to my heart is…grabbing my leash to go for a walk or car ride or adventure!
My self-care routine is…massages by mom. She’s trying to get me into pedicures too but it seems like more of a game to me.
I recently discovered that…I’m not supposed to greet new friends by jumping on them. I thought I was giving them a hug so manners are confusing but I’m such a good boy and getting better!
My typical Sunday…hanging in my backyard on the lookout for squirrels.
We’ll get along if…I just want a family to love me and play with me and take care of me so if you can give me that, I’m yours for life.
Fact about me that surprises people…even though I have a lot of energy , I go into my crate really well! That’s where I stay when mom goes to work.
Green flags I look for…a sibling! I’d love to have a canine sibling. I have two in my foster home and we have so much fun playing together.
My friends ask me for advice about…my constant positive attitude! I’m such a happy dude so I tell them to just hang out with me. I can bring you joy too!
The most spontaneous thing I’ve done…invited myself to my neighbor’s backyard pool. I made a new friend but next time I tried, the fence slats were too tight to fit through!
*1 year old
*60 lbs
*Playful energy
*Loves toys
*Walks well on leash
*Loves everyone he meets
*House & Crate trained
*Dog friendly (cats unknown)
*Playful with the cutest zoomies

More about this rescue
We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.
We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
Follow us on our journey to create a rescue that provides animals the love and care they need while they find their home. We will post updates on our social media of the dogs we are able to help and how your support made a difference.
