Juniper is full of life, happily playing and engaging with friends, both two-legged and four-legged. Initially shy, she warms up quickly, revealing her bubbly, affectionate nature. She is extremely loyal and makes a wonderful friend once she gets comfortable. Juniper has lived with small children and other dogs of all sizes and adores them. She has mastered basic commands, walks elegantly on a leash, and is always on her best behavior, especially in familiar settings. In new places, she might temporarily forget her manners and bark, showing her youthful spirit and ongoing learning.

Recently, Juniper underwent FHO surgery on her hip and has nearly fully recovered. She has been given a clean bill of health and is covered by MetLife health insurance through July 2025, with allergies as her only preexisting condition. An Embark DNA test reveals she is 78.6% American Pitbull Terrier, 12.4% German Shepherd, and 9% Boxer, adding to her unique charm.

Juniper does best with consistent, gentle leadership to help her navigate her growth. She enjoys other dogs' company and would thrive with a confident companion to guide her and share in her playtime.
