Oh, sweet Walter! This gentle little boy is such a special guy, one that is sure to win you over with his shy little looks.
Walter was found as a stray kitten in Chicago, all alone. He came into his foster home, a little shut down, a little rough around the edges - but nothing a little time and a little TLC couldn't solve.
Walter is coming out of his shell more and more every day and is blossoming into such a special boy. This cutie loves to have his ears scratched. He loves to come and ask for pets and the look he gives you when you start scratching behind his ears, is sure to melt your heart! When he's not looking for affection, you'll find him romping around the room after one of his foster siblings having the time of his life - you can tell he missed having playmates!
Walter has made it clear that life for a kitten is better with a friend - and we couldn't agree more! We always say that we believe that kittens do best with a companion, so that means that this cutie will need to either be adopted with another cat or kitten or into a home that has a young, playful, kitty friend for him. SAYv Animal Organization is a startup animal welfare organization focused on gettings things done.
We have 2 permanent programs running right now, with the objective to increase our manpower and reach to create new programs including farm animals.
Solutions: We help other nonprofit organizations create and execute life-saving solutions and provide support for critical operational initiatives.
Rescue: We have officially started our rescue efforts!!
Unfortunately, since we are a start-up organization with limited funds we have to focus on perceived "easier" cases whenever we can, JUST UNTIL we get a solid financial base and network. We fully intend to help open-admission shelters save ALL at-risk animals, including the hard cases.
