Pumba came to CAMO as an owner surrender and is a wonderful, if somewhat reserved, 2-year-old Poodle mix. At 47 pounds, she has a high prey drive and should be in a home without birds or small animals. Pumba Mei gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with older children who understand her size and demeanor. Initially shy and timid, she warms up quickly once trust is established. She is currently working on potty and leash training but is already crate trained. Pumba Mei tends to be more cautious around men but is a loving and loyal companion once she feels secure.
Pumba tested hw positive and was treated with 30 days of doxy and given a proheart 12 shot.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need.
