Meet handsome Porter! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 8/29, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Porter is now hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Porter, and they describe him as very friendly and easy to walk! He is curious and attentive to the people around him. Porter is still quite young, so he's looking for an active family/person who will have time to commit to him.
Porter is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 55 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet this very good boy in run 81; his ID # is 661490.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
