This is a courtesy post! If you are interested in adopting or fostering Gwynny, please reach out and we will put you in touch with the appropriate contacts. She is currently on Kauai but can be adopted anywhere on the mainland OR fostered in Newport, Costa Mesa, or Huntington.
Gwynny is a 6.5 yr old hound. She likes other dogs and does great with kids. She is housebroken. She will sleep in crate and eats in crate. She has gone through a six week training course and we actively work on her training every day. She is still timid out in town/social settings but does better when she has another dog walking with her. She is definitely a homebody dog and it’s where she shines & thrives. She loves her hula hoop & agility tunnel.

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. We are entirely foster-based and are no-kill. Our mission is to help as many homeless dogs and cats as possible find loving and compassionate adoptive families.
We accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and being advocates for each animal that comes under our care. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of as many animals as we can.
Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is named in honor of our founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to numerous dogs and was a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
