Meet Buster, a loving 5-year-old Boxer mix who’s looking for a patient and understanding forever home. Rescued as a stray from a high-kill shelter, Buster has some anxiety triggers and needs a special kind of home where his fears can be addressed with care.

Buster isn’t fond of people putting their hands near his face, so he needs a family who can respect his boundaries and work with him gently. He tends to bond strongly with one person and would thrive best in a quieter, single-person household. In return, Buster offers deep loyalty and affection to his chosen person.

Buster is good with his main caregiver but requires an experienced owner who can help him build trust and confidence. He also has skin allergies and is on a specialized diet of only pork and fish to keep him healthy.

If you’re an experienced dog owner with a calm home environment and a heart full of patience, Buster could be the perfect companion for you. With the right support, he will become a loving and devoted member of your family.
