Meet Bart, a lovable American Bulldog/French Bulldog mix who’s ready for a fresh start. Rescued from a high-kill shelter after a challenging past, Bart was returned due to fear-based behavior when he mistook a family member for an intruder. Despite his rough start, Bart has a heart full of affection and just needs some time to warm up to new people.

Bart is good with other dogs and, with proper introductions, can thrive in a home with canine companions. He’s leash reactive, meaning he may react when he sees other dogs while on a leash, but with the right guidance, he can learn to manage this behavior. Bart is housetrained and has no medical issues, making him a great candidate for a family willing to offer patience and understanding.

With a bit of time and a loving touch, Bart will prove to be a loyal and loving companion. He’s ready to be a cherished member of a family that can help him navigate his new beginning.
