My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

adoption donation : $699

weight 35 lbs

Age: 1 year

Auggie is sweet, shy boy who was rescued from a kill shelter in Okolona, Mississippi just hours before he was scheduled to be put down. He was taken to the rescue and has been just a delight, friendly to everyone he meets and loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue. Auggie likes to follows his foster mom around, tail wagging.
Auggie walks well on a leash and is a calm boy. He has had his vaccinations and has been neutered and is a healthy and happy boy who will make a wonderful companion to the lucky family who adopts him.

Please note that Wags of Monroe county is a struggling 501(c) 3 volunteer organization where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue.
