Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Woof! My name is Gem, and I`m an affectionate and friendly pup looking for my forever home. When you meet me, you`ll be greeted with a wagging tail and lots of cuddles. I love nothing more than spending quality time with my humans, whether that`s going for a leisurely stroll or snuggling up on the couch for a movie marathon. If you`re looking for a loyal and loving companion, you`ve found the perfect paw-tner in me. I promise to bring endless amounts of joy and laughter to your life. So, what do you say? Are you ready to add a furry friend to your family? I’m full grown at ~51lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from the Johnston County Animal Shelter.
**I will be spayed before going home. I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**
~My adoption fee is $120.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
