My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  04/23/24

This lovely all-black kittie is Minerva. She is from a litter of five and loves to play with her siblings. She also loves to play with toys and run all over her foster mama's house, usually chasing another kitten. She is happy to be on her own and will often be found snuggled up napping by herself.

Minerva may be the most shy of her litter, but once she warms up to someone (which takes very little time) she is very cuddly and enjoys being picked up, held, and petted. And petting her is so rewarding because her fur is very soft and she really enjoys it.

She gets along with big cats, kittens, and with children too. She hasn't been exposed to dogs, though it's likely with a little time she would be won over and win the dog over too. If you love black cats, she may well be the perfect cat for you!

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
