Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bucky was found on the side of the road and no one ever claimed him. He is currently in foster which includes four other dogs, and he's doing great. He is learning basic commands, working on potty training and walking on a leash. His foster Mom says: "He is incredibly smart, curious and energetic. He enjoys being part of the "pack" and he especially likes to socialize and play with his foster-sister, Cricket (also available for adoption). Bucky is all about maximizing his fun. He loves to hike, and he's happiest playing tennis ball fetch and running free off-leash in the enclosed play yard. Bucky also loves his people very much and we love him. He loves to sit in my lap and get drenched in hugs, kisses, head scratches, and belly rubs. And he's always sweet to respond with a little lick on my face. In the evenings, when everyone's winding down, he's content just sitting by the fire with everyone in the family room and snuggling in close.
Bucky's both preciously adorable and amazingly playful/energetic. He's the first one awake every morning, and he starts each day with fresh energy and excitement. He brings our entire house to life, and we all start our days a little more happy and energized because of Bucky. "
Bucky gets along with kids, dogs and cats too. Since Bucky is going through the typical puppy "mouthy" stage, he would do best in a home with older kids (10+).about 5 months old and 17 pounds. Please help Bucky find the loving home he deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Bucky's adoption fee is $425. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
