My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- **Name**: Oakley

- **Age**: 2 years old

- **Breed**: Great Pyrenees

- **Gender**: Male

**About Oakley**:

Oakley is a stunning 2-year-old Great Pyrenees with a regal appearance and a calm, laid-back personality. He was rescued after being found roaming the neighborhood, as his previous owners didn’t have a fence to contain him. This gorgeous boy has a beautiful, strong head that makes him quite the head-turner. Oakley’s gentle demeanor and love for people and other animals make him an ideal companion for any household.

**Special Notes**:

Oakley’s chill personality is one of his standout traits. He doesn’t get excited about much, preferring to take life in stride and enjoy the company of those around him. He’ll fit in well with a family that appreciates his relaxed nature and is ready to provide him with a secure, loving environment where he can feel safe and at home.

**Ideal Home**:

Oakley would thrive in a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can safely explore and relax. His new family should be loving and attentive, as Oakley enjoys human companionship and gets along well with other animals. His laid-back attitude makes him an easygoing addition to any home, whether you have other pets or children.

**Why Adopt Oakley**:

Adopting Oakley means welcoming a calm, gentle giant into your life. His stunning looks and even-tempered personality make him a perfect fit for families looking for a loyal, loving companion. Oakley’s journey from roaming the neighborhood to finding a forever home could end with you, and in return, you’ll gain a devoted and affectionate friend for life.

~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam.

Health: ***** No obvious issues found during vet exam *****

Additional adoption info

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
