My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What's a nice cat like me doing in a place like this? I am an 8 year old tiger kitty lady with cute big eyes. My fur is smooth and I am hoping to find a new home. It is hard moving out of your old home and looking for your next forever home, but I am going to try to be optimistic. If you come to the cat cafe in Deland I would love to meet you and talk about life together. Bring a few different treats and some toys, and we can have some fun. Being that I am middle-aged, I am not the high-maintenance cat that a kitten is. I am a bit more laid back and like to sit still and cuddle. I do have my playtime, so be sure to have some fun play toys and some time to spend now and then. I look forward to meeting you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Individuals or families interested in adopting an animal must complete a brief Meet Your Match assessment before entering the adoption areas. Interested adopters are strongly encouraged to spend time outside the kennel with their pet before adopting. After the office staff screens the application, a surgery date is scheduled for the animal to be spayed or neutered before it will be placed in its new home. If the animal has already been altered, it can usually go home the same day! Otherwise, a date and time is established for the adopters to pick-up their new family member. If a placement is felt to not be in the best interest of the animal, the adoption will be denied.
