Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ford is ready for a new home, one where he is with adults that love to stroll with him in the nice weather.
This boy bonds hard with people, once he has decided that he is your new best friend then he wants to spend every waking minute with you. While he does have some anxiety when he is left alone, he is learning kennel training so that he can feel safe in his new home.
Ford has been excellent with other dogs, and bonces around to play with them.
While Ford has successfully lived with cats, he sometimes needs a reminder not to chase them. If the cat doesn't run and isn't interested in him he typically leaves them alone.
Fords been in and out of the shelter a lot, and you can tell when you meet him. He loves to put his paws on your chest and when he gets really excited to see a person his feet get to tippy tappin, his ears start bouncing, and he starts vocalizing his excitement. He doesn't always show his eagerness is calm ways, sometimes its a bulldozer of love.
Ford's foster is working on teaching him clear boundaries and acceptable dog behavior. Ford is a loving work in progress and we are hopeful that we will find the best family for him.
