Uma, a 4-month-old mini Goldendoodle, is ready for her new home! She currently weighs around 10 pounds and is expected to reach about 20-25 pounds when fully grown. Uma is a breeder release due to microphthalmos, a condition characterized by a small or recessed eye. Despite vision loss in that eye, she is a happy little pup who gets around just fine and doesn't seem to be affected in any way.
Uma is a fun-loving little girl; she is playful, affectionate, and so much fun. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She is smart and is picking up the routine of her foster home with ease. Uma is crate trained and has just started learning to get used to the leash. She is doing great on her housetraining too but she is just a baby and will need more training in her new home. Uma is good with other dogs and would love another playful one in her new home but it is not required. She has no issues with cats. She loves everyone she meets and everyone loves her right back!
Uma is a young puppy, so she will require lots of love, patience, and training in her new home. Regular grooming will also be necessary, so please keep that in mind if you are thinking about adopting a doodle breed. Although she doesn't seem to shed, she is not considered hypoallergenic.
Uma is up to date with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and flea/worm treated. We require a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption. The cost of her spay is included in the adoption fee and fully explained in the contract. She is scheduled to be spayed at Operation Pets on September 13th and the adopter will be responsible for taking her to the appointment. Her adoption fee is $650.
