Jay has finished heartworm treatment and is ready to find his forever home!
Jay is a 2 year old Catahoula mix who was rescued in New Iberia, Louisiana. Two good samaritans took him in from the streets so that he could find a home. On his first visit to the vet, they learned that Jay was heartworm positive and would require a nearly year-long treatment. Because Jay is such a good boy, they decided to start treatment right away. He was then transported to his foster home in Tennessee so he could undergo treatment and get ready for forever home of his very own.
Jay is house-trained, crate-trained, great with other dogs and meets strangers successfully with treats. He loves to play in his kiddie pool and run around with toys. This good boy has been through a lot in his short life, but you’d never know it.
Are you thinking of adopting a pup? Jay may be the perfect match! An adoption application is required and a fenced in yard is preferred. Please message for more information!
