My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I`m Catfish, a young, cuddly, and playful furball with energy to spare. I love a good game of fetch, or anything that keeps my tail wagging really. I`m always ready for the next adventure, whether it`s exploring the backyard or just playfully chasing my own tail. Despite my energy, I`m a real softie at heart. I love curling up in laps and giving out free cuddles. I also enjoy the company of my fellow canine friends. We dogs gotta stick together, right? If you`re looking for a playful, loving, and energetic companion, I`m your guy. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life. So, why not take a chance on me, Catfish?

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Tuesday - Saturday:10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
