My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rubble

Do you love wrinkly foreheads?? Well we have the boy for you!! This sweet young guy was picked up stray by a county shelter, and after 2 months of somehow not being adopted he was marked as "Urgent", and would have been euthanized for space if not rescued.

One of our amazing fosters raced over to the shelter to meet him, kid tested him with her own children, and gave him two thumbs up as being an all around wonderful pup!

He is in a home with kids aged 1-10, and lots of other dogs, and he is doing great! He is a snuggler, and bonus, he seems to be housetrained, too!

Rubble is now neutered and ready for his forever.

If you'd like to find out if Rubble is the perfect pooch for your family, please fill out an application at the link below and we will be in touch! :)

Additional adoption info

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
