Meet Zeidy, the 17-year-old Yorkie with a heart of gold! This sweet senior still has plenty of energy and loves to chow down on her favorite veggie treats. Zeidy is a social butterfly and gets along great with other dogs as well as cats and older children (9 years and up). This sweet senior recently got a thumbs up from the vet with a clean bill of health - no issues at all! To keep her thriving, Zeidy enjoys a special homemade diet that's tailored just for her. We're committed to giving her the best, and it shows in her energy and spirit!

More about Zeidy: This low-energy lap dog adores quiet car rides, cuddling up with her favorite humans, and enjoying gentle attention. Zeidy is a big eater and loves her food. She's suited for a home with kids aged 9+. She is all up to date on her vaccinations and she is spayed. She is also crate trained, walks well on a leash and is housebroken.

Zeidy is currently enjoying a special diet of homemade food as suggested by her vet. This diet has been tailored to her specific needs and has greatly improved her health and well-being. We are looking for an adopter who is willing and able to continue this special diet as it is crucial to her ongoing health.

On April 15th, Zeidy was rescued from a neglectful breeding business. She was in rough shape, but she received the medical care she needed, including surgery and medication. She is now thriving and enjoying her second chance at life!

All of her vet care, surgery, medication, and food has been covered by us.

In many areas of the country, especially in the South, the situation for animals is desperate: Chained outside and starving, homeless and running loose, or just simply no longer wanted and abandoned in an overburdened and underfunded facility that can’t possibly take another.
