My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am Sienna! I was at the animal shelter a long while until APA got me out. I was fearful of people but loved other dogs. APA sent me to their PAWS prison training program, and I graduated in December 2024.
I am still shy with new people, but I warm up fast. And I get along well with other dogs and love to play. My trainer said I am a smart girl who will fit in great into most homes/families. I can't wait to find my furrever home!

More about this shelter

We are a progressive animal welfare group in Dona Ana County. We run an adoption center, the local pet food bank, a prison dog training program, and a thrift store. We rescue most of our animals from the municipal shelter and then ready them for adoption.
