My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stormie is a petite little beagle girl weighing in at 17 lbs. she is about 3-4 years old and is very cuddly! She loves playing with her furry friends at her foster home but when she’s tired, she just wants a lap to curl up in. She is great with dogs and kids but we’ve not had her around cats so, while we think she would be fine, we can’t say for sure.

Stormie’s background is a mystery. We know the owner found her for sale at a flea market and couldn’t resist this special little girl but unfortunately, due to circumstances that were out of her control, was unable to care for Stormie.

We are looking for an owner who is able to give her the time and attention she deserves. She would be great with another dog but would be fine as an only if her people are around and able to spend plenty of time with her.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
