Meet Honey and her brother Ted Lasso!

These adorable half Golden / half Poodle puppies are new to rescue. Their very devoted owner had some personal issues that made it in the best interest of these pups to come to Summit Dog Rescue, where we're stepping in to find each of them their own perfect forever home. Sometimes loving means being selfless and making hard choices that benefit the ones you love.

Honey and Ted Lasso are about 12 weeks old now. They had a great start to life and are healthy, vetted and well-socialized. We expect them to be around 75-90 lbs. when full grown.

They will be adopted to separate homes -- so please apply for one puppy only. We're saying no apartments as they aren't yet housetrained. Their adoptive homes need to have a yard to play and pee in, and the puppies are a breed that may have some shedding. No kids under the age of 8 in the home, please and thanks.

Preference will be given to Boulder area applicants as the puppies are already signed up for Puppy Club at Boulder Humane. We're now accepting applications but we need to be incredibly careful in our placements.

We will require adopters to do puppy socialization classes AND listen to a few Pod to the Rescue podcast episodes on puppy development, AND sign up for a training program. That way these babies will be on their way to be the best grown-up dogs ever!

Spay /neuter and microchip are included in their adoption fee, as well as one session with the certified trainer on our Board.
