MEET TAMALE!

Tamale is a 3 year old, 10lb Chihuahua. He was found as a stray and his owner never came for him. Tamale is a sweet and gentle boy who enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn’t mind sharing his space with cats. This quiet pup loves to be held and is very food and treat motivated, making him an eager companion for training and bonding activities. Tamale thrives in an active environment and is looking for a family that can keep up with his energy.

Tamale is crate trained and rides well in the car, making him a great travel buddy. While he is affectionate and enjoys being held, he would prefer a home without young children, as they make him nervous. He would do best in a fenced yard where he an play safely, as he is not a good fit for tethering or invisible fencing. Tamale will need someone who is aware of their surroundings as he can be a tripping hazard if not cautious.

Tamale would do best in a loving, active family who can provide him with the care, attention, and exercise he needs. If you’re looking for a loyal and sweet furry friend, Tamale may just be the perfect match for you!

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
