Kimber is a sweet and loyal 5 year old German Shepherd mix, who recently underwent a leg amputation after she was surrendered by her owner. Kimmy, as her foster mother has been calling her, is looking for a new quiet and comfortable home. She enjoys walks around the yard, being brushed, and playing ball. Kimber is very loving to her people, but fearful of strangers. She needs an owner who understands her and does not force interactions! Rather than greeting your guests, she would prefer to be tucked safely in her crate or bedroom with a treat. A low-traffic home without children would be best. Kimmy is dog and cat friendly with proper introductions, and she is not reactive when seeing other people or dogs. She walks well on a leash and does not pull.
