My name is Gizmo!

Allow me to introduce myself—I'm Gizmo, your charmingly quirky Australian Shepherd mix, and I’m a sprightly one-year-old ready to steal your heart (and maybe a few snacks). I’m here today because my previous owner sadly passed away, and let me tell you, it was a real surprise party I didn’t sign up for! So now I’m on the lookout for my next adventure with my forever family. 

Now, let’s talk about the important stuff: I weigh in at a solid 35 pounds of pure, unadulterated joy. And yes, I come fully equipped with a shiny set of credentials—I'm neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped! Think of me as the canine version of a superhero, ready to swoop in and save your day with my adorable antics.

 I’ve got a personality that’s sweeter than a double scoop of ice cream on a hot summer day! I’m like a walking, wagging ray of sunshine. But here’s the kicker: I’m packed with more energy than a toddler who just discovered chocolate! Seriously, I’m like a furry tornado of excitement. I love to run, jump, and play until I’m ready to flop down and take a power nap—just give me some hikes or puzzle games to work my brain and burn off that energy. Trust me, you’ll want to keep those activities coming!

Now, a little word of caution: when it comes to doors, I might need a bit of supervision. I mean, I can’t help it; I love to play cops and robbers! So if you happen to see me eyeing that door like it’s a portal to a world of adventure, you might want to deadbolt it. I can’t resist the thrill of being chased—it's just too much fun! 

But don’t worry, I’m not a one-dog show.I get along fabulously with other dogs, cats, and kids. Basically, if you can keep up with my high-energy antics, we’ll be best buds in no time. I’m all about making new friends and having a blast, whether it’s zooming around the yard or curling up for a cozy cuddle session after a long day of play.
