My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kermit is the mama cat of three kittens that were all abandoned and near death from the heat and lack of nutrition when they were found by Petsmart employees at the end of June. She was a great mama even when she was a skeletal and frightened kitten herself going into her foster home.

Since coming to her foster home, she has blossomed in more ways than one. She is an absolute sweetheart, and her happiest place rotates between sitting on the couch next to her foster mom and in a window watching the world outside. While she was solid black when she entered foster care, as her health has improved, she's added gorgeous silver sprinkles on her chest and across her back.

As her kittens have gotten older and more self-sufficient, she's also allowing herself to act more like a kitten. She enjoys wrestling and playing with her own kittens and would love to go home with one of them, and she loves playing with toys from her cat dancer to a laser pointer to a box-braided dog toy.

This little miss loves attention and scratches on her head and chin, as well as almost-full-body pets.

Momma and kittens have been exposed to dogs in small doses, and while they do not love dogs (yet), they were also not horrified by them and may work in a home with dogs who are used to cats and an adoptor who is familiar with introducing dogs and cats in a slow and safe manner.

Kermit is up to date with routine shots, litter box trained, altered and micro chipped.
