5 y/o Tony was found stray and taken to a local shelter. HBHR claimed him when no family came looking for him. Tony is a standard 15 inches and weighs a solid 30+ pounds. He tested positive for heart worms but has completed his month of Doxycycline and will be adopted with a year’s supply of Advantage Multi.

Tony has great house manners and has used to dog door from day one without a problem. He is a smart boy and learned quickly what Cookie Time meant! He will come running from the backyard where he enjoys watching for squirrels! Tony is a quiet boy unless he spots an invading critter! He then let’s all hear his beautiful bay!

Tony gets along well with his foster siblings but is not much of a player. Tony will be happy as an only dog or to live with a canine companion that isn’t into wrestling and playing chase! He does like to be around kids and would probably learn to enjoy games of fetch with his own little person!
