My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alan is a unique little guy with a spirit that shines when he feels safe. He's on a journey toward trust, those who are willing to give him time will be incredibly rewarded.
Alan needs a quiet, low-stress environment with experienced adopters who understand little dog behavior and can help him feel secure. A home without young children or other pets would be ideal, as Allen will thrive in a calm and stable home. He would benefit from slow introductions, time for decompression, and lots of positive reinforcement training to help build his confidence.
With patience, he will evolve from a cautious pup into a loyal companion.
Alan is available at our Westhampton Adoption Center.
