My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macha (pronounced Ma-ha) came to her foster parent's doorstep in the middle of a heatwave, heavily pregnant and ready to pop. Right off the bat she was begging for love and attention! Now, with her six kittens big and weaned, she's ready to live a happy, comfortable life indoors. Macha is very patient and calm and is quick to let you know if a boundary has been crossed. She's become very playful in her time as a foster, learning how to be a kitten again from her own babies! While she's not a snuggly lap cat, she's still happy to receive love and affection and shows her affection in other ways: namely, by putting her paws right on your head and grooming your hair! Macha would be happiest as the only cat, but could possibly be fine with one other calm cat with enough of an introduction period.

More about this rescue

Kitten Snatchers is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing Philadelphia's stray cats and kittens. Founded in 2020, we provide foster homes to cats found on the street or surrendered to ACCT, and we care for them until they can find their "fur"ever homes.

Our success is only made possible thanks to the hard work of our team of experienced and new fosters who open their homes to cats in need.
