Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This 4-year-old, silver & white tabby might be just the kitty you are looking for! Tara is a gorgeous girl who was returned to us in early 2023 for management of her medical condition. She has an autoimmune disorder that causes her body to attack its own red blood cells. She requires daily medications to control this condition along with frequent veterinary visits.
Tara adores attention and lets you know it. She will be one of the first to greet you when you enter her room, and she both loves to play and loves to lounge around—she’s definitely an eager lap cat! Her last home was just devastated that Tara had to return to the shelter. Even though she is in our room with cats that have food allergies, Tara does not have any food allergies. She does need to watch her figure, though—she has been eating VERY well here at the shelter and is a bit on the chunky side.
Our Medical Team requires that Tara go to a home with experienced cat guardians who can administer medication and who have an established veterinary relationship.
If you are looking for a friendly and beautiful new friend, fill out an adoption application and come meet this sweet thing! Our Medical Manager will review her history with you.
The shelter volunteers just love this sweetie and we know you will too!
